Daryl, I learned a lot from the podcast! We just bought our first walking foot last week for Fred’s old Elna (1950’s steel, enamel finish, cams). It is what we sew on. We had trouble with a 3-level piece and someone said, try a walking foot. And thanks for the comment on needles: I keep telling Fred to change it more often: now I have a metric! Loved it all!

Just spent a lovely tea break with Daryl and the Threads team. What a fun experience. It was my first time watching one of these podcasts. Thanks the alert on the Podcast. As you know, I am one of your groupies. Lots of good tips. I will be following up with a search for woven plaid and couching material to bring to class.
