Because you asked…

My lovely daughter and a friend are due in shortly for the Columbus Day weekend.  I want to walk away from the studio for the next couple days.  Especially since I ran the vacuum and any additional messing around with scraps will generate more lint which gets tracked all over the house.  Note to self:  In my next life the studio will be detached from the house…

And so dear readers, because you have been so generous in your comments and so many of you have asked me to “reserve” you a bag, which gets a bit unwieldy in record keeping, I’m putting the one pound bags of scraps in four combinations up on my eShop on the website.  There are limited quantities, especially of the mid-value (there are only four bags) but I’m giving you all first grabs, and if there is anything left, I’ll bring them to the guild sale.

Here is the website write up:

Vintage handwoven scraps of rayon, cotton, and silk circa 1980-1990. Pre-washed. Use for quilts, dollmaking, home decorating and craft projects. Assorted size scraps, no two bags alike! A full one pound package!
Tip: handwoven scraps can benefit from a stabilizer like Fusi-Knit in Black or White. Available in “Supplies

Cost is $20.00 per one pound bag, $5. shipping (more for international)

You can choose between Light, Mid-Value, Color, and Dark.
