A glitch…

I was surprised when I woke up this morning, that there were only a handful of people who had read my blog post from last night.  And there weren’t any comments.  Then I checked my email and saw a few wonderful readers who informed me of a glitch in the subscriber notification, that the link for the blog post was missing.  Well that would explain a lot, except why the link was missing.  Before we get too crazy and start changing all kinds of settings, I wanted to send out a test post to see if the problem was an isolated incident or something that changed when site updates were made.

From the Daryl’s Blog  “tech support”: Looks like the wordpress plug-in that sends out the notifications has an issue, we updated the notification email and there will be a “tinyurl” and the blog site url (address) in the notification. We are sorry for the repeated notifications. The “tinyurl” is an encoded address of the actual post.

So, I apologize for this short post, if you aren’t a subscriber then just ignore, and for the rest, who were missing the link, here it is…

My email shows that you sent out the link last night, but I swear I didn’t see it earlier this morning. It is in my email inbox now saying that it came in at 11:43 last night…

Your first message came without link, but I went to your blog and saw all the marvollous weaving from your daughter (and wondered what she would do with it). Your latest message came with the link.
No problem.

I get your blog posts as RSS feeds. “Life with Brianna” came in at 8:44 am on Jan 4. However, it didn’t show up in the RSS feed on my computer until the late afternoon on Jan 5, along with the “glitch” post. In fact, most of today’s RSS feeds (Jan 5) are timed between 8 am and 10 am. None appeared before 4 pm MST. It must be a case of magical realism.

I went to an old one and followed from there. We all have glitch moments – you are worth it!
All is well today!

I couldn’t get on and finally went to your web site and clicked “blog.” Great blog as usual and I am still envious of alllllll your space. So glad your daughter is interested in weaving. Mine did a bit in Jr. High, but then went on with her music and 2-d art. Anyway, hope your town is getting settled down and that this will be a very Good New Year.
