We decided to have a “staycation” the last week of August 2001 seeing the sites of NYC, one of our trips was to the World Trade Center so apply captured in the above weavings. This was a week or so before the heinous happened.
Once again, managed to survive that difficult day of remembrance. Miss fellow EMT Bruce Reynolds, a Port Authority Police Officer, who having finished his shift, was on his way home in The GW bridge span over the Hudson. Saw what happened, turned around and helped 100’s get out. Unfortunately he was not recovered till April of 2002.
They are all now is a safer, better place. Your weavings speak volumes. Thank you.

There is nothing more to add. The pictures say it all. We went to the firehouse dedication of the piece of steel from the towers that Marta designed the showcase for. A beautiful tribute and a very moving day. The world still mournes, and hopefully never forgets.

The silence of your poignant post is deafening.
