Sandstone Draft

Notes, dye formulas, details, draft, and inspiration for the Sandstone fabric, 8 shaft featuring hand painted warps. Combination draft with plain weave, twill, Bird's Eye Twill variation, and supplemental warps.  The colors for this fabric were inspired by a palette in the Fabric Forecast column in the January/February 2007 issue of Handwoven Magazine, by Daryl Lancaster. Digital 4 page PDF download.
