Hi Ginny, I just read your comment and it made me feel like you back here with us. I am so delighted with the enthusiasm that everyone there was talking about. Sometimes we worry that our art is dying but CNCH conferance always bring it back.

My friend and I took your jacket pattern class and I so enjoyed your talent and enthusiasm and of course, your wonderful sense of humor. I came from out of state to attend CNCH. After a family tragedy 7 months ago, seeing dear friends at CNCH and attending the conference did a lot for beginning to heal my broken heart. I told you that the episode you did with Syne was one of my very favorite Weavecast episodes and I’ve listened to it over and over. I feel really lucky that I got to take the pattern workshop with you. And congratulations! You look fantastic and your zest for life in general and weaving in particular really touched a chord in me. Thank you!

I had the booth selling basic scarf kits for both children and rigid heddle weavers, and I felt a new energy and excitement at this CNCH conference. It was very well thought out and designed for the instructors, attendees and the vendors. Syne Mitchell came by my booth and checked out my kits. Her keynote address was the most enthusiastic and energizing speech I have ever experienced, and I am so happy that I could be there at the beginning of a new wave of weaving and weaving technology. Your blog really captured the moment.
One of my mentors told me that she had “never met a weaver who was not both an intelligent
and interesting person.”

Thanks for making me feel as if I had had the opportunity to be there, at the conference. I am equally inspired by your descriptions as you are about the conference. It is about communication, isn’t it? Thanks, again for the gentle, enthusiastic boot to get going.
