AMIGAS VIRTUOSAS by Daryl Lancaster and Loretta Dian Phipps

Handwoven, 8 shaft, combination weave.  Rayon and cotton yarns from Prism, metallic yarn, bamboo weft.  Satin collar, quilted and beaded, hand dyed lining, handfelted godet.  Original Design

Handwoven tencel, 4 shaft Bird’s Eye.  Original Pattern.  Handbeaded embellishment, 

This ensemble was designed as a collaborative effort, Daryl and Loretta were one of three design teams selected for the HGA Convergence Tampa Fashion Show, June 2008.  It will tour with the HGA (Handweavers Guild of America)  until 2010.
